Surrounded by models, plans and drawings of the numerous buildings he has designed throughout his professional career, the Pritzker Prize winner (1996) confessed that seeing the world through architecture "implies establishing a connection with the past and giving a reason to the present time."

The video aims to transmit the architect's know-how from Museo Universidad de Navarra. It is a portrait that shows, in audiovisual format, all the knowledge, experiences and cultural influences of the architect: the books he reads, his environment, the archives and the models he keeps... everything speaks of him. And how all this wealth, accumulation of experiences and way of life are undoubtedly reflected in the Museum project.

The architect of Museo Universidad de Navarra also told what architecture is for him, how it affects and influences future generations and concluded that "it reaches its highest level when people take the building and make it their own".

He is the only Spaniard to have received the Pritzker Prize (1996) along with other awards such as the 2012 Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts, the 2003 RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Gold Medal and the 2001 Mies Van der Rohe Award.

His most emblematic works in Spain include the second extension of the Atocha Station (Madrid), the Kursaal Conference Center and Auditorium (San Sebastián), the Señor de Arinzano Winery (Aberín, Navarra), and the Concert Auditorium (Barcelona), among others.
