The Museo Universidad de Navarra has in its collections the photographic legacy of José Ortiz-Echagüe, who has been described as a "notary of tradition" for his interest in immortalizing the landscapes, customs and popular types of very different places. This is an important part of Navarre's cultural heritage, which the Museum is dedicated to preserving, exhibiting and disseminating.

The European Heritage Days of Navarra consist of a series of activities that include tours, interpretive walks, performances, guided tours, workshops, lectures and concerts, which allow visitors to visit the most significant cultural heritage assets and some usually inaccessible places in the region. This year, 2020, the theme of the Conference is the "Education and Heritage".

Within the framework of this conference, the Museo Universidad de Navarra invites all those interested to participate in the children's workshop "The Magic Box". children's workshop "La caja mágica" ("The Magic Box")aimed at children and families and revolving around the work of José Ortiz-Echagüe. The workshop is free and will be held in the Museum's spaces on Fridays September 25 and October 2, between 6 and 8 pm. There will be a visit to the Ortiz-Echagüe collection on display, followed by creative activities based on what was enjoyed in the exhibition room.
