Since 1986 Helena Pimenta has been exploring Shakespeare's work on stage. After her journey through the Spanish classical theater directing the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (2011 to 2019) I return with Ur teatro to this beloved and always missed author with Twelfth Night, a comedy in which again love is the protagonist. Written in 1602, it is one of Shakespeare's most admired comedies where the audience is co-protagonist of the events.

HELENA PIMENTA
Stage director, playwright, teacher and cultural manager, she directs the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico from 2011 to 2019. She holds a degree in English and French Philology from the University of Salamanca and is an associate professor by competitive examination in secondary education, teaching in this field for twelve years.

He gives lectures and courses in national and international forums and carries out pedagogical-theatrical programs in various national and international institutions. In 1978 he founded the group Atelier, which he directed until 1987.

She was artistic director of Ur Teatro between 1987 and 2011, a position she has resumed in 2021. She has also been director of the School of Theater of Rentería (1987-1993) and of Programming of the Niessen Hall (1987-1995). She has directed more than fifty shows.
