Musicae Artis. Sacred music experience at the Museum
The Museo Universidad de Navarra has promoted the production of a different musical experience, called "Musicae Artis", together with the Youth Choir of the Orfeón Pamplonés, the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra and the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Pablo Sarasate.
The performance is open to the public and will take place on March 26, close to Easter. It is a choral and instrumental interpretation of various musical pieces of the Passion, represented in an itinerant way by the exhibition halls of the Museo Universidad de Navarra. The performance culminates in the Museum's theater, with a predominance in the repertoire of Bach's St. Matthew Passion. Thus, the intention of the new Museum to disseminate and merge different artistic expressions, combining the performing arts with the plastic arts, is fulfilled.
Musicae Artis consists of two parts: the first part is developed through an itinerary through the exhibition halls and the second part of the concert will take place in the theater. Tickets for the first session at 7 p.m. are sold out, and those attending will only be able to buy tickets for the second part of the concert. for the second session at 7.30 p.m.. Punctuality is requested.
